A Musical Baton
Michael Tsai passed me the musical baton blog meme.
Total volume of music files on my computer
5,362 songs, 21.06 GB in iTunes library, plus a couple o’ ten MP3s on my desktop that I haven’t “dealt” with yet and a good-sized stack of CDs waiting to be ripped.

Five songs I listen to a lot, or mean a lot to me
I don’t get so hooked on specific songs, moreso specific sounds/styles. I absolutely love acoustic guitar, especially from artists such as Peter White, Craig Chaquico, Acoustic Alchemy, Pat Metheny, Michael Hedges, and Kaki King. I also enjoy when guitar is paired with the sound of certain (not all) female singers, such as Michelle Branch.

My songs-on-my-computer total would be a lot higher if I actually got around to ripping all my CDs. I plan on starting that very soon, but still haven’t.
