Mac Moment

Yesterday afternoon, I was just riding around in my car…er, decompression chamber…with the windows and the moonroof wide open. Gorgeous weather. Coming to the end of a little residential road and waiting to turn out into the highway, the SUV that was behind me came to stop in the neighboring lane. His windows were also open. We both turned and met glances, then he commented that he liked my license plate (which reads MAC-USER). As I turned further, he noticed I was wearing my black hat with a white Apple logo and he followed up by saying he liked my hat. We chatted a few seconds about Final Cut Pro and the fact that I mostly do desktop publishing, but edit a few short videos throughout the year. I believe he said he had his own small editing business. I then waved at his absolutely adorable little girl who gave me a smile and a wave back as the light turned green and we went in opposite directions.

Just a little something you Windoze-loving weenies wouldn’t understand.

You’re too late. Hackers have had that “something” for much longer.

I stand by my statement. True hackers tend not to be part of the “Windoze-loving weenies” crowd.
