Apostrophe Catastrophe Explained
Crikey, it’s no wonder why I’m always having to gripe about incorrect apostrophe usage. This Daily Mail article claims that half of the UK’s teachers make simple apostrophe mistakes. And the article doesn’t even talk about the frequent mistake that is more of a technology issue than human error—using a single curly quote that is curved the wrong direction in front of something like ’90s.
