Joys of Home Ownership

From time to time, I have been asked why I chose an association-managed condo community rather than my own home with property. The reason which generally dictates my answer manifested itself in the form of a water leak from last evening’s rain. It’s not an awful leak, but bad enough it needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. Had I been in a traditional house, it would’ve been up to me to either find a way to fix it myself (something at which I’m utterly unskilled) or pay potentially hundreds of dollars (which I do not have right now) to get it fixed. I’m much more content to pick up the phone and put my monthly association fee to good use. A worker should be out to deal with it Monday, if not this afternoon.
