Too Cool for Internet Explorer

A for Effort, F for Implementation

Here’s a little tip for anyone making use of the Google Maps engine to set up a locator function on their web page. It’s useless to display locations—especially when they’re concentrated—while the zoom level is back so far, you see most of the state, and you’ve gone and deactivated the standard zoom widget on the map. It’s also rather ridiculous to have a form where you type in a zip code require that you click the little search icon to do the search when most everyone knows that a proper form will also allow you to just hit Enter while the cursor is still in one of the form’s fields.
