Garmin Finally Shows Some Love To Mac Users
This is very cool news. Regrettably, there’s no mention, yet, of an equivalent of the Mapsource software to sync maps into a device. My fingers are firmly crossed that I’ll someday finally be able to leave behind what is essentially the last reason I own a PC box at home.
Garmin promises Mac support for GPS
Garmin today announced that it will immediately begin to make its line of GPS and mobile electronics devices compatible with Mac OS X 10.4. Garmin intends to have all its popular hardware and software applications Mac OS X compatible by the end of 2006.
