Proof That We’ve Lost The War On Blog Spam
Just what the hell good does it do to spam a blog when you don’t include URLs to attempt to increase your own pagerank? Granted, my blog will not hyperlink URLs nor permit HTML formatting in comments, but still!
Lately, I’ve been getting spam that links to big name companies which are obviously not responsible—Fandango, Warner Brothers, Chicago Tribune, News.com, E! Online, ad infinitum.
What this means is, blog spammers are posting crap solely because they can, with no real benefit to themselves.
