Misplaced Blame
So let me get this straight—a bird lost its life simply because it flew through a window that the people should’ve had shut (considering the nature of their indoor investment)? Where are the animal rights activists when you need them?
When you see people setting up dominoes, you don’t go and knock them down prematurely. The people will get angry, and they will kill you. Can’t you just simply put this simple concept in your little bird brain?

If this is hypocritical, then so be it—with roaches, yeah, game over. Most other critters, though, if it’s convenient to do so, I shoo them out the door.

On the other hand, I have no problem killing insects when they get into my house and wreak havoc.
