Commission or Courtesy?

This could easily be one of those classic “I told you so” situations for me—if only someone had done a better job of telling me so.

Beware of commission-based workers with whom you must interact. Granted, ultimately I still believe my realtor is a kind, well-meaning person. But now that the sale is done and she’s earned her money from me, it’s essentially a stab in the dark to reach her for some follow-up items. I’ve attempted contact on three different occasions/issues and have only received one reply—and even that was only because I attempted to call in several times that day, ultimately only resulting in an e-mail reply.

I guess when there’s not money to be earned, realtors have little use for you—that is until you tell them you’re looking to move again.
