Look Into Their Eyes (Because They Certainly Aren’t)

Have you ever watched a TV program with a scene where someone looks into a small, handheld mirror? The scenes are usually believable enough—you see the person’s eyes supposedly looking back.

The only problem is, the scenes are not believable to me. Nor should they be to anyone else. It may work fine for a large mirror, but if you turn a compact enough to allow someone else (the camera) to see your eyes, you’re no longer looking at yourself.
