My Spin On All the Windows Vista Pooh-poohing
You know what, I think we Mac enthusiasts should just stop writing enormous novels about what Microsoft is (or isn’t) doing with the next generation of Windows. Not that Billy’s developers really pay attention, but in case they do, why should we freely give them so much advice about what it is that makes Windows suck so much? We get it: whatever Microsoft releases—whenever it is they finally release it—is going to be immeasurably bad. Case closed.
So, I say, let’s just sit back, laugh to ourselves, let Vista get released in whatever form it comes, and wait for the Windows users to hate it so badly that they have little choice but to seriously consider jumping ship. Windows developers don’t need any more free advice from Mac pundits on how to make Windows continue as a Mac OS rip-off.
Killing the Menu Bar, Of Course
And before the Windows community lashes out at me, please bear in mind that my comments are an opinion and not a fact. Maybe Windows Vista will come out and it’ll finally be in really respectable shape. All I’m saying is…I wouldn’t hold my breath.
