It Was Just Piled Up There Anyway—Why Not Let Amazon Have It?
Actually, this is pretty cool.
I’d take advantage of this very often if I wasn’t so anal about 1) dumping my change in my car’s center console each day, and 2) digging out three quarters, two dimes, a nickel, and four pennies every time I pull up to a business and plan to buy something with cash.
With an estimated $10.5 billion of idle spare change lying around American households, Amazon sees that found money as found money. And it will now accept it for purchases.
Update: grrr, okay, some of you people are sad, and I’m ordering you to go take a basic math class. 25+25+25+10+10+5+1+1+1+1 does not equal 99!
