Podcasting From My Point of View
You know, I can’t figure this out. I’ve never gotten into pulling down podcasts. I don’t really understand how people have time to listen to them. They seem so “anti” to what web publishing and RSS has become—the ability to get at what you want to know quickly. And now, people are back to taking their own time verbally telling you what they think you need to know.
Chris said, “When podcasts get to the quality level of something like Car Talk, I’ll start listening. Until then, I have better things to do with my time.”
To which I replied, “But, by the time they reach that status, they really don’t call them podcasts. They’re live internet radio shows.”
So, you need not worry, because the Second Initial is not going to become a podcast in the foreseeable future.
