Morning (Anti)Glory Redux
This isn’t exactly a repeat of my original Morning (Anti)Glory entry. This scenario is self-inflicted.
I’m sitting in a hotel room in Daytona Beach. I ought to be asleep now, but that goes against my grain because I can rarely fall asleep before midnight. Why am I in a Daytona Beach hotel? Because I have to be out on the beach at 6:30 in the friggin’ morning to shoot a sunrise portrait of a couple for the cover of a newsletter I do each quarter.
The story is about something that happened to this couple as they were on vacation and walking the beach at sunrise a while ago, so getting this photo is logical…for morning people like them!
I’ve said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it many times again, if God had intended for me to see sunrises, He’d have put them later in the day!

I’m definately an evening person, yet, I get up at 4am to get ready for work. Why? Because I enjoy getting off early in the afternoons to spend time with my kids.
