The Silence Would Be Deafening—If People Would Stay Silent

My friend and fellow ATPMer, Chris Lawson, had a short-but-to-the-point article published in SchwarzTech. He hits the nail right on the head regarding an infamous pundit whom I will neither name nor link to—the reason being revealed in Chris’ article.

If the Macintosh community does not acknowledge that they exist, their raison d’être ceases to be, and they will stop writing such pointlessly inflammatory pieces.

While I understand Chris’s point, I disagree that these people will stop flaming the Mac platform. Remember that their target audience is not Mac users. They know that the average person doesn’t understand the details, so they feed them rhetoric that keeps the Mac community looked upon as a fringe fad that will one day disappear. While my choice of OS is Windows, I enjoy the competition of other OSs to promote “creativity”, or at least simulation, among all OSs.
