Canada Cancels Cumber
This IotM entry is not given due to the smart decision to repeal the MP3 levy in Canada, but rather for the boneheaded comments in The Globe and Mail article, most of which are based on the highly inflated notion that artists get any real compensation from digital sales.

I’m continually amazed by the perpetuated myth that MP3s are hurting the music industry. The truth is the music industry is hurting themselves and MP3s are the only way they’re going to reach new consumers.
