Dark In the Park

It’s not likely anyone who reads my blog has affiliation with the Altamonte Springs D.O.T. Otherwise, they might see this entry and possibly do something about the bizarre fact that probably at least ⅔ (I’d bet even more) of the street lights on the south side of S.R. 436 (yes, only the south side—not the north) have not been on the past several nights. This includes not only lights illuminating eastbound traffic, but a good many business parking lots, too—such as the local Publix. I had two close calls at turning a corner into a pedestrian because of the dark parking lot, because of my headlights not yet aimed down the road because the turn wasn’t completed, and because of my tinted windows. What gives?
