Local Coverage
All three major network affiliates in Orlando have live internet streams of their broadcasts while Hurricane Jeanne passes: WESH, WKMG, and WFTV. I’ve come to enjoy the local reports instead of the cookie-cutter-type reports from cable networks. All three have intelligent meteorologists who are delivering good interpretations of the raw data out of the National Hurricane Center. Personally, I like the guys at WFTV the best.

What amazes me are the stupid weather people from Weather Channel, CNN, etc. They’ll stay out there right through the storm and even step out into the wind to give you an idea of how bad it is. I saw one lady nearly get blown off her feet.
