The Look Back

I’ve just finished an album on my photo server full of shots I took Friday night and Saturday after Hurricane Charley passed over Orlando. I focused on my home town of Altamonte Springs and neighboring Casselberry and Winter Park.

Please don’t think my photos are representative of the damage O-town received. These weren’t the worst areas. The further-away portion of Winter Park still has widespread power loss. College Park and, I’m told, the Lake Eola residential area, as well as Kissimmee, are also in pretty bad shape.

My friend, Jeff, has photos of the College Park region and, when his power is restored, I’ll likely make a dupe of his album and add it as a subalbum to mine.

There’s already one subalbum at the end that is full of photos by one of my coworker’s friend. He went down to Punta Gorda after the storm to help with a feeding station and brought back plenty of photos.

Quite simply, Punta Gorda got hammered to the Nth degree.
