The Emotion
Still no power, and it’s getting pretty annoying. All the area around me was blacked out initially, but as I looked around last night, virtually everything surrounding my rather large apartment complex was back on—but not us. As if to add insult to injury, I have it on pretty good authority that the power companies’ priority is 1) hospitals and special needs locations (totally understandable), 2) business, and 3) residential.
Exqueeze me!!!?????
God forbid poor little McDonald’s can’t make a buck or two for a day, but those of us trying to just continue life have to sweat at home? That’s nuts. How does anyone justify this? It makes even less sense when it’s a weekend we’re talking about, and plenty of businesses aren’t open anyway. Jeez. Something is wrong with this picture.
(And yes, if you’re detecting a pattern in these entry titles, it’s intentional!)
