The Anticipation
It’s 4 p.m. I’m preparing to drive home. If this entry is read before 4:30 p.m., I beg for whatever tangible form of good karma suits you to send my way.
Puh-leeeze let the power be on when I get home!
5:04 p.m. Sigh. Guess there wasn’t enough good karma. I get to sit in my office a while longer so as to avoid sweltering.
