Who Names Residential Subdivisions?
Exactly what does Pine Oaks mean? Is it a pine, or is it an oak?

That’s kind of silly. I wouldn’t say that the name has anything to do with it—rather the location of the subdivision and the value/class of homes built within. Granted, sometimes the values are a bit inflated, but it’s not because of the name.

The real question is, why does the name of one subdivision bring so much higher dollars than another? If you have a answer to this I would like to know. Thanks Peter.
