Bye-bye Gmail?
Google may have to rename its planned one-gigabyte-of-space e-mail service, but do we care? My understanding of the whole deleting thing is that if you delete it, there’s a good chance there will be a residual copy someplace. But this is something that happens anyway: backups and mail servers and whathaveyou keep those messages too.
The targeted ad thing is a little creepy, but it’s not as if Google doesn’t already keep a track of you.
