Too Cool for Internet Explorer

Puerto Rico, Here I Come

I’m so excited. I and four of my friends have secured our airline tickets to fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico, for some fun time the second week of April! What’s also cool is that this will be the furthest away from contiguous North American soil I’ve ever been. Unless you want to count Vancouver Island in British Columbia, I don’t suppose I’ve ever even been off of contiguous North American soil. Also, the furthest I’ve been from U.S. soil is Edmonton, Alberta.

Okay, sure, Puerto Rico is a U.S. protectorate and all, so even this isn’t a huge deal for travel. I most certainly intend to someday travel abroad. Desire isn’t the excuse. Money is. I just know I don’t want to be among the majority of Americans who have never traveled overseas.

Suffice to say, it’s unlikely I’ll have much internet access during the trip. If I manage to secure a small amount of time online, I’ll post an update. And, of course, there’ll be plenty of new photos on my album.
